dBB Aviation GDPR Privacy policy

This policy explains how dBB Aviation Consultancy Limited (“we”, “us”) processes your (“you”) data as provided to us via our website, email, phone (telephone, text and messaging services) and social media, within EU regulations.

1. Types of information we collect.

The different types of information collected include, but are not limited to:

- Names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, payment information such as bank/card details, information found on government-issued ID (i.e. national identification number passport number, etc.).

- Information related to you that individually cannot identify you such as medical or health information such as food allergies or more detailed information in situations such as when providing medical transportation, disability requirements and information obtained from public records.

- Details of any services you request

- Details of any testimonials submitted to us

2. How long we hold on to your data.

The length of time we hold on to your data is referred to as the Data Retention Period.

dBB Aviation Consultancy will retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collect it. The Storage period shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months from the time that the information is provided by you or collected by us. The Storage period will reset with each new communication made between the client and dBB Aviation Consultancy Limited.

Data relating to a booking will be stored for up to 5 years due to contractual reasons.

3. The Purpose of processing your data

We will only use your data for;

Sending correspondence to you relating to a quote, booking, aftercare, billing and other business-related purposes.

Processing special enquiries and requests.

Sending targeted marketing communications. (please see section 6 for information about how to update

4. Sharing your data

dBB Aviation Consultancy Limited will only ever share your information on a need to know basis. A practical example of this is providing passport information to an aircraft operator. We will never share your data with a company, individual or organisation that does not immediately relate to a service you have requested.

We may disclose your personal information to any law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority or other third party where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Some of the third-party suppliers dBB Aviation Consultancy Limited work with are located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Should all or part of your booking be fulfilled by a supplier located outside of the EEA, we may need to transfer your data outside of the EEA including to countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

5. Storage and confidentiality

Unfortunately, no data transfer or storage system is 100% secure, although every reasonable step will be taken to protect your data we cannot fully guarantee its security. Your data will be stored on a third-party CRM and/or cloud storage system protected by enhanced security measures. Personnel working for or on behalf of dBB Aviation Consultancy Limited are obliged to respect confidentiality and have limited access to systems which store personal data.

6. Managing and removing your data

At any time, should you wish for us to manage your data in a different way, for example to opt out in/out of marketing/sales communications the process by which to do this is to email info@dbbaviation.com with your request. You may be requested to provide proof of your identity before any request is processed. You have the right to request for your data to be removed from our systems either in part or entirely.
