Well known for fantastic skiing, St Moritz has another ace up its sleeve. In January St Moritz hosts a unique sceptical, the annual Snow Polo World Cup. Since 1985, the snow polo tournament has been hosted here and is currently the only high goal polo tournament played on snow.
Located in a fantastic natural setting on a frozen lake in the Engadin Valley, the event offers a unique atmosphere. Gourmet food, champagne in the stands and complimentary social events make it an event not to be missed. Each year, the event takes place over the last weekend of January with 2020 marking the 36th meeting held between the 24th and 26th of January.
