2021 Ski Season and Covid 19

With the 2020 Ski  and Covid 19 the season was forced to be cut short due to the outbreak. Recently, with the winter fast approaching, many people across Europe have been asking us, will I be able to go skiing in 2021?

Resorts across Europe are actively taking positive actions to keep skiers and snowboarders safe. Requirements such as face masks and hand sanitiser which are now familiar with us all will be in place on the slopes. Additionally, chalets and hotels are adapting and some are even providing contact-free check in, manned buffets and regular testing of staff. You might even find the slopes a little quieter in 2021 as some resorts are limiting hotels and chalets to 70% capacity to aid with social distancing.

Many resorts are going the extra mile working with local governments and tourism boards to create the safest environments possible. Enhanced testing regimes are being rolled out for employees of accommodation providers, restaurants and lift/transport workers. Ski Lifts and Cable Cars will be regularly disinfected and have a reduced capacity likely limited to one group/household. Expect table service in bars and restaurants and Apres Ski to be mainly outside in the fresh air.

The 2021 Ski Season is expected to go ahead despite Covid 19 and flying by private jet in 2021 will help keep your group safe while also providing the usual benefits. Travel in an aircraft dedicated for your party which has been fully sanitised between each trip. Reduce your overall travel time by using private terminals meaning you can arrive at the airport 15 minutes before departure.
